Participation
Participation in the Explorer Post 1010 is a commitment to your project, your team, and yourself.
Our projects operate mostly year around, but meet very frequently as a tournament approaches.
We expect the member will attend almost all team meetings.
If you can never meet on Saturdays, Monday evenings, or Wednesday evenings it will be difficult for you to fully participate.
Everyone is expected to help with some outreach during the year. All the
projects have required outreach if you want to score high. The Rockville
Science Center provides you with many opportunities to connect with our
communities and receive Student Service Learning hours.
Inclement Weather
Normally we follow the public school schedule changes, but not always.
Our meetings are 12 hours off from the start of school, conditions may change.
If it looks like there are no road problems and we don’t expect a change, then we will meet.
Consult with your parents to make your decision.
Since we meet at Rockville Memorial Library and the Rockville Science Center, they may close the building for weather or holidays.

We respect your privacy and will protect the teens who participate.

Post 1010 to it's members, related families, and interested parties.
We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization. We are sponsored by the Rockville Science Center in Rockville Maryland.
