Explorer Post 1010 registered in the 2019 FIRST Tech Challenge robotics program. We are Team 6417 - the Blu Cru. The theme and title of the challenge is SkyStone.

We kicked off our effort in early September 2019. We built a practice robot out of old parts, and ordered a collection of new parts. We built our final robot with mostly new parts. We also conducted outreach activities during the winter, demonstrating our robot at local schools and letting kids try to drive,

We signed up for two qualification tournaments, Gilman School in Baltimore on Sunday, December 15, and Parkdale High School in Prince Georges County on Saturday, January 25.

To prepare for the tournament, we created an engineering notebook, and prepared a presentation board for team judging at the tournament.

We held feedback sessions after the tournaments. We have all our scores from the Orange Alliance. We decided we will do better next year with these comments.

At the Baltimore qualifier, we started with issues, but won the last three rounds. Unfortunately, we were not elected for the finals. The best round was match 24. In match 16, we had no alliance team. We only videoed teleop for match 22. We were finalist for the Connect Award.

At the Prince Georges qualifier we had some challenges and did not make the finals. Our best run was match 25. We only videoed teleop for match 2. We won match 17, but it didn't count because we were just filling out the schedule.
