Objectives

• At least one qualification flight of all our team rockets.
• Each team will start with one test fight to refine their weight.

Lessons

• Only teams 1639 and 1640 had qualification launches. Team 1641 pink rocket had a fin loose and decided to wait.
• We had no ignition issues, with eggs breaking or recovery of rockets.
• Some of our launches had a wiggle as they left the launch tower and altitude was reduced. We think it may have been a cross wind. The wind changed direction during the day. When we reset the launch rail with the wind, it seemed to reduce the wiggle on the last Blue/Gold launch.
• In using our launch rail next to a NOVAAR rail it caused some confusion with the launch managers and other teams. It got much better when we moved the rail number plate to the proper rail.
• The scores were disappointing, but had some good elements. We will be ready to try again very soon.
