For TARC 2014 the rocket must use two parachutes of the same size and with all the rocket parts connected - something like the picture to the left.

We came up with several possible designs which we illustrated in chuteconfig.pdf.

Team 1 decided to use a rear ejection technique that we used on a Big Daddy in 2007. It worked well then. Here are some videos of static tests.
