On the last
possible day to qualify, Team 1 headed out to Virginia. It was a
rainy, cold day. We huddled under a tarp stretched between two
cars until the rain stopped. There was
some wind (about 8mph), with short periods of calm.
Objectives:
- Qualify Team 1 with scores under 20.
Lessons
- Team 1 worked well without their
leader.
- They picked up a member from Team 3
along with a backup rocket.
Team 1 is planning to continue with
their work on a electronic altimeter ejection and flight control.
They hope to have it ready for the National flyoff. |
