This
is our chance to look back and review what we did. We need to document
what we did well, and how we could improve. We need to get ready for the
National Conference and Tournament in Norman, Oklahoma, July 6-11.
Here is what we did well...
- Our robots have room for improvements and can score more
points, many others can not
- Our robots had style (Batman colors)
- We had good concepts and problem analysis
- Grappling hook was reliable
- Our oral presentations and reports rocked
- The food kept us going
Here is how we can improve...
- Inconsistent scores
- Lame bot names
- Checklists, checklists, checklists, checklists
- No last minute code changes
- Make sure your changes take effect
- We need a left side grappling hook
- Save code in several places and remember where
- Have a starting light sensor plan, don't stand behind the
light when calibrating, consider more sensor shielding.
- Long distance recon (Spirt Fingers)
- Try harder with flare
