We had a good group in for this work session. Unfortunately, some of the teams left to do a rocket launch since that project is not yet complete. But the teams are working hard and we are starting to settle down the membership of each team.
We got our first period documentation scores -- Team A got 9 out of 12 and Team B got 8 out of 12. They were OK, but we can do better.
Team 06-0157 (9 out of 12)
Game Strategy and Mechanical Design: 2
Software Development and Source Code: 3
Team Organization and Assignments: 2
Testing: 0 (not scored)
Goals and Milestones: 2
Reflections and Lessons Learned: 0 (not scored)
Supplemental: 0 (not scored)
Comment: Add a few more details in each post and don\'t forget about mech. design. Overall - good work!
Team 06-0158 (8 out of 12)
Game Strategy and Mechanical Design: 2
Software Development and Source Code: 3
Team Organization and Assignments: 1
Testing: 0 (not scored)
Goals and Milestones: 2
Reflections and Lessons Learned: 0 (not scored)
Supplemental: 0 (not scored)
Comment: Elaborate a little bit more in each post - you are almost there! Keep it up!
The bots are starting to emerge, but none of the bots are on the table scoring points. Mr. Ekman has announced a prize for the first bot team to score 10 points. We don't know what the prize is, but we aren't scoring any points either.
Another problem is the bots are rather large. It will be hard to get two of them in the starting box. We need to get some navigation diagrams to see if bots can work together.
This is Mr. Ekman's evaluation for the 3rd week. We now have a testing item for evaluation.
